Tofu & Cheese tempura
Ingredients:
200gm Tofu
40gm Mozzarella cheese
80gm Flour
80cc Water
40gm Starch
1 Egg
500cc Vegetable oil
5gm Salt
Prepare
Dry Tofu with paper towel
Crumble into small pieces
Add starch and mix
Shape
Form into 2 round ball
Make an indentation with your thumb
Add cheese and form a ball
Batter
Add flour, water and egg into a bowl
Mix until consistent
Dip and cover tofu mixture into batter
FRY
Heat oil to 170°c / 330°f
Fry tofu tempura for 3 mins on one side flip over
Cook for 2 mins on the other side.
Present
Transfer to plate
