Pork & GInger Onigiri Bomb
Ingredients:
50gm Pork belly
40gm Thinly Sliced Pork Loin
30gm Sliced Onion
80gm White Rice
20cc Vegetable Oil
Sauce:
100cc Soy Sauce
100cc Sake or Red Wine
30gm Sugar
30gm Grated Ginger
Sauce
Mix Soy Sauce, Sake, Sugar and Ginger in a pan
Cook for 8 min in low heat
FRY
Fry pork belly and minced onion
add sauce to the pan and cook for 30 sec
Remove from pan into a separate bowl
Prepare
Place saran wrap on table
Spread rice and add pork mixture
Form a ball with the rice inside the saran wrap
Pork ball
Wrap rice ball with raw pork loin
Heat oil in pan and cook onigiri on a low heat
Add more sauce to pan and cook for 2 minutes
ServE
Cut into two pices
Cover in more sauce
Enjoy with Wasabi Mayonnaise
